Slow Adventures aboard Selkie provide our guests with more opportunities to engage with remote, wild and nature-rich places – to journey through breathtaking landscapes at a slower, immersive pace, reflecting, reconnecting and simply getting closer to the environment.
Slow Adventures include our popular Wellness, Yoga and Qigong Sails; Geosails; Photography Sails; running and other collaborations with people and organisations whose expertise enhances Selkie Explorers’ range of voyages. Check out details of our Slow Adventures using the links below.
St Kilda, Inner Hebrides and Small Isles Geosails
St Kilda, Inner Hebrides and Small Isles Geosails reach the places that normal geology trips don’t reach. We travel with the wind, see the Hebrides from a completely different perspective, take our time to soak up the atmosphere, get in close to the coast to view the geology of inaccessible places.
Wellness, Quigong and Yoga Sails
Selkie Explorers teams up again with Qigong practitioner and wild food forager Camille Dressler and Iyengar yoga teacher Elaine Bull for this beautiful and popular slow adventure. We start our voyage from the Isle of Eigg where the Selkie team will meet you as you disembark the ferry on Sunday. We then go for a wander and yoga practice before boarding Selkie for a delicious meal and the start of our navigation.
